Discover the new Audi A6 Limousine
If you haven't yet had the opportunity to take a closer look at the latest Audi A6 Limousine version, it's high time to change it. Elegance combined with sporty character and the use of innovative solutions are the characteristics of this car.
Intuitive operation
The MMI Touch Response system is designed to make the individual functions quick and easy to use, and to make them even more personalised. This solution, similar to the systems used with smartphones, allows for intuitive operation, which is facilitated by two large displays. The upper one contains icons for all functions, while the lower one allows us to save 27 shortcuts for vehicle systems. As part of the Audi Connect Online service, we can use services such as traffic sign recognition and risk communication.Effective driver support
Drivers of the new Audi A6 Limousine have a choice of three driver assistance packages:
- a package of parking aid systems
- Urban Driver Assistance Package
- a package of systems to assist the driver in extra-urban traffic
All these systems are managed by a central support controller, in short zFAS. If we decide to purchase the highest version of the car equipment, we will be able to use 5 radar sensors, 5 daylight cameras, 1 infrared camera, 12 ultrasonic sensors and a laser scanner.
Electrification of motors in the Audi A6 Limousine
First of all, drivers in Europe will be able to choose from three V6 engines. Subsequently, four-cylinder TFSI and TDI units will appear on the market. As standard for all versions of the A6 Limousine, users will receive an automatic transmission.
In the case of V6 diesel engines, it will be an eight-stage tiptronic box and a self-locking, inter-axial differential. The 3.0 TFSI models are equipped with a seven-speed S tronic transmission and quattro transmission with ultra technology. Vehicle variants with V6 TDI engines will offer a sports differential.
Suspension and brakes in the latest Audi A6
The Audi A6 Limousine provides the user with full driving comfort, thanks, among other things, to its clever suspension components. This includes central control of the systems as well as control strategies or a dynamic four-wheel steering system, which is an option. The standard steering on the A6 Limousine has a direct transmission. Aluminium is mainly used for suspension and fixed brake calipers mounted on the front axle. The car is also distinguished by its high acoustic comfort.
The standard version of the Audi A6 Limousine has steel springs as the basis for the suspension. With the latest Audi A6, EFP not only controls the operation of shock absorbers and air springs, but also the four-wheel steering system and the sports differential, and each driver can decide on their own how the various adjustable suspension systems work. He is able to do this with the Driver Select dynamic selection system. The Audi A6 offers three modes: comfort, auto and dynamic.
The Audi A6 Limousine confirms the stylistic change in Audi cars. The car is 4.94 metres long, 1.89 metres wide and 1.46 metres high. The new A6 has a capacity of 530 litres.
